We are lucky to live in a part of the world where, in the early Fall season, the green leaves, on the trees turn bright colours. The leaves turn bright reds, orange, yellow and burgundy just before they all fall off and the trees enter winter dormancy. I went up to the Bancroft area during the first weekend of October, 2102 and tried collecting corundum crystals at Logan Cuts and the Craigmont Mine. Unfortunately, I did not find any good corundum crystals but did see some beautiful "Fall Colours" as we call them. Although the pictures don't do them justice, here are a few photo's for you.
