  • LaRose Mine
  • Cobalt

  • A very rich slice of unique high-grade from one of the first mines in the Cobalt Mining Camp. The mineralization consists of very rich silver veinlets cutting through, mostly, nickeline and carbonate matrix. The piece is poorly sawn and is 17mm thick on one side down to 1mm on the other. The front view looks fine! This is a slice from a large specimen that was in the David Dunlap estate. Mr. Dunlap was one of the original partners in the LaRose Mine, along with the Timmins Brothers. Displays very well!
