  • A very attractive cluster of sphalerite crystals accented by duses of 1-2mm pyrite crystals that have been directionally applied to the sides of the sphlaerites. The sphalerite crystals are black with light striations and are not crazily twinned like we often see. Nice!

  • An attractive specimen showing balls of dolomite scattered over pyrite and chalcopyrite crystals plus one calcite twin at the back right of the specimen. The chalcopyrites appear black since they are coated with tenorite. The pyrites are all bright, golden pyritohedra. The larger calcite twin is composed of two interpenetrating rhombohedra. Great looking specimen.

  • A handsome specimen consisting of sub-parallel groups of pyrrhotite crystals replaced by pyrite along with some black sphalerites and well formed crystals of pyrite. Some creamy calcite crystals, as well. The front of the specimen is tipped up at 45 degrees from horizontal for perfect display.

  • A superb example of this assemblage. The pseudomorphs of pyrite after pyrhhotite are well formed and stand up above th esphalerite. The sphalerite crystals are jet-black and complexly twinned. Interestingly, there are lots of hair-like crystals of a jamesonite-like mineral amongst the small quartz crystals. Excellent specimen!
