Zircon, Various Localities, Canada

Zircon is one of my favourite minerals. Although zircon crystals can be found outside the Grenville Geological Province, the best ones tend to be found in the various deposits of that part of the Canadian Shield. Most of these crystals and specimens are from the Grenville and there are some unusual localities represented here. All are fluorescent, usually yellow. Have a look!
