St. Lawrence Fluorspar Mine
Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
Item number: 18262
The front of this specimen is covered with sharp, green octahedral of fluorite with a selective dusting of tiny quartz crystals. The St. Lawrence Mine was once an underground fluorite mine that operated for many decades at St. Lawrence on the Burin Peninsula of the Island of Newfoundland. Has not been oiled. Displays very nicely!
